ORLEN Upstream Norway growth strategy is well supported by a robust inventory of development projects. Nearly 50% of the company’s resources are yet to be developed, resulting in one of the least mature portfolios on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The company is involved in several major development projects that are expected to add ca. 150 million barrels of oil equivalent to its production portfolio between 2026 and 2030. These include Fenris and Yggdrasil, which are among the largest development projects currently underway on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Yggdrasil

  • Reserves: 700 million boe
  • Partners: Aker BP (op.), Equinor, ORLEN Upstream Norway
  • Development plan: 57 wells, ten templates, a new manned processing platform, two unmanned production platforms, power from shore
  • Planned production start-up: 2027

Fenris

In addition, ORLEN Upstream Norway is progressing additional investment decisions, reflecting its continued focus on the long‑term development of the Norwegian Continental Shelf’s production potential.
